Drawing, paintings, and works in progress

From sketchbook drawings en plein-air to watercolour paintings based on my photographs of walking trails, my recent works in progress are inspired by landscape paintings of the Post-Impressionists, Les Nabis, and Symbolists. I draw my inspiration from the patterns and whimsical contours of Pierre Bonnard, the patchwork and exactitude of Piet Mondrian, and the romantic mysticism of the late works of my ancestor, Felix Hidalgo.
